Swedish Metal band Ghost were once described as Abba meets Black Sabbath, and their combination of heavy riffs and melodic earworms are only the start to the bands creative oeuvre.
A band of pure theatrics and entertainment needs artwork to match, and we were thrilled to get the chance to work on the official animated poster for their upcoming cinema screenings of the Rite Here Rite Now tour.
To achieve the final result the hand illustrated artwork had to be deconstructed and layered up, giving full flexibility when it came to putting it all in 2.5D and bringing it to life.

Alongside the animated poster we also created a series of social spots, one of which was based around the idea of the band getting ready before one of the shows. Its fast cuts and dynamic transitions work together to build tension and excitement throughout the piece.
